Zara has always lived a low key life and her wedding was no exception it was just a wonderful family affair without all the pomp and ceremony.
They wed in Edinburgh in glorious sunshine and this is the first royal wedding to take place in Scotland since Princess Anne married Commander Timothy Laurence in 1992. Zara went to school in school and is a patron of the Scottish Rugby Union.
Zara chose Stewart Parvin to design her dress a favourite couturier of the Queen. This dress was classic and not fussy which was perfect for Zara's style and minimalist look. Her hair swept back and small bouquet gave it a classic look. She wore a full length veil and this was set off by the Queen's Greek-inspired tiara which was given to Princess Anne in the 1970's.
Her bridesmaids all looked lovely and they were all dressed in the same colour as her wedding dress.
This was a typical Zara affair which was low key, full of fun and very family orientated.
The party went on all night and it included take away chips and a vodka fountain.
