Sir Paul McCartney marries Nancy Shevell

The third Lady Macca wore a stunning Stella McCartney outfit and she looked demur and elegant in a simple and modest outfit. She wore kitten heal shoes which showed a sensible choice for a bride who would be standing for most of the day, and wanted to be comfortable without towering over her groom. She wore a flower in her hair which looked far more simple than a busy hat on her head.
The ceremony was a small and intimate affair for friends and family. His daughter Beatrice aged 8 was the only bridesmaid and Sir Paul's brother Mike was the best man. Nancy was given away by her son Arlen Blakeman aged 18.
Someone asked Sir Paul after the ceremony how he felt and he said "terrific absolutely wonderful and I feel married."
The couple then drove off to the reception at Sir Paul's home in London which included former beatle Ringo Starr and his wife Barbara Bach, Kate Moss, Jools Holland, Model Twiggy, Jeff Beck, artist Tracey Emin and Sir David Frost.
This was an understated reception which was exactly what the bride and groom wanted. The only thing that wasn't was the £400,000 Cartier engagement ring.
All the guests ate a meat free and organic meal followed by a vegan cake.
Sir Paul sang Let It Be, the Beatles hit to Nancy at the reception and it is thought they will honeymoon in the Caribbean, Mustique a private island where they have spent time there before.
